Yami no Kokudo was first established over a year ago by Meli. Only consisting of a few pages, it was hosted by a host called Angeltowns. It was focused mainly on Yuugiou and provided a small amount of info on the series. Over the months, YNK became more and more improved and a proper layout was soon made for it (though a rather crappy one made by Beatrix).

As time went by however, Angeltowns decided that it no longer wanted to offer a free service and deleted all its hostees without warning. This was the end of YNK. But not for long. It was reinstated a few months afterwards and hosted by Twirp. It went well for a few weeks and more information was added (aswell as many other things, like images and lyrics, etc.)

Unfortunately, there was a server crash at Twirp and all files were lost. Including YNK and Beatrix's design site. All of our hard work was once again destroyed, but that didn't hold us back. For a third time, YNK was once again resurrected on Twirp. But it never got very far. It was mainly just a page with links to nowhere. This was due to the fact that us (the staff) were losing interest in Yuugiou.

After yet a few more months I, Beatrix, decided that YNK should once again be worked on. And so I rounded up the YNK team and declared that I would remake the site (aswell as the forums) so that they focused on general anime/manga. It was a success, and I managed to get the site back up and running.

In the future we hope to provide brief, but detailed summaries on our favourite anime/manga series. In other words, this site shall be a fansite introducing people to our favourite series and encouraging them to experience those series for themselves. We hope we will be able to fullfill this aim :)
